Becky has always been passionate about design starting as a child. As she got older, she was always asked by family members and friends for design advice and assistance in choosing products for their homes. At the time it was a hobby, but she always wanted to start her own home styling business. In 2009, her family of seven moved to Fargo, North Dakota from Maryland where she was a stay-at-home mom to five kids for several years.
In 2019, she decided to start her own home staging and redesign company, Rebecca's Home Designs. While helping customers style their homes, she was often looking for window treatments. She worked with Karen, The Little Blind Shop's previous owner, on several projects.
When Karen decided it was time to retire, she entrusted Becky to take over her business, now renamed The Little Blind Shop by Rebecca's Home Designs. Although Karen retired, she remains an integral part of the team, particularly for draperies. The Little Blind Shop is your one-stop source for all your home decor needs, including custom window blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, curtains, and more! Our Window Treatment Process
When a potential client contacts us, we like to schedule an appointment for them to come to the showroom with window measurements. Once they have narrowed their choices down, we provide a quote. Upon approval, we schedule a home visit to help you pick out the perfect window treatment and re-measure. Lastly, we collect a down payment via check or credit card and place the order within 2-3 days. Although there are different lead times for each product, the items typically ship within 3 weeks.
